FOURTH OF JULY
So my family [meaning my mom and dad’s family both and their parents and grandparents and so on] has this place in upstate NY called Hedge’s Lake, and since forever we have owned property on it and most of my distant family [whether they live in Washington or Texas, or Michigan] always spends summers at the lake.

You said this, although you said it in Spanish.
It wasn’t the first time I have heard that phrase, but you’re the only one to actually give it meaning. Now, every time I think of that phrase, I remember why I need to wait. Patience isn’t easy to have and it certainly isn’t easy to keep once obtained.
