I completely agree.
I’m leaving for Farmington, Connecticut with my mom on Wednesday in the morning. My dad is there now in their apartment and I’ll be living there for a week :3
My cousins and aunts and uncles live in Long Island, New York so I told my parents that I am not coming all the way up north and NOT visiting them — especially since it’s only about a 2 hour ride down. My mom said that most of my cousins aren’t living with my aunt and uncles, which makes sense since they’re all older than me, but that some of them are living in “the city,” which in this case is New York City.
That’s fine with me if that means we will visit New York City…
I plan on coming back to Savannah by train, and thus my returning route will include New York City / Penn Station… :D I can’t wait.
My mom said I was gonna fly, then my friend suggested going by train. Riding a train down the east coast [it will take more than a day] will probably be the most amazing thing I’m going to do this summer.
I will have my camera and I will get/see the following thing while in NYC:
- NY pizza [aka the best pizza]
- a hot dog and a pretzel from the street vendors [also amazing]
- also Italian ice from the street vendor..
- Time Square [again, but i doesn’t hurt to see it more than once xD]
- a break dance group [when I visited a few years ago, one was happening on a random sidewalk]
- the musical Wicked [?] <— I’ll have to work on that… :P
Homg though…. I’m so excited lol :3
Also I get to see my dad finally and I get to ride up to Connecticut with no radio and 2 dogs :D
